Fully lined with thick fur, including footbed, they are toasty to hot on your feet (even without socks). The footbed fur makes them squishy to stand in (very nice).They fit about 1/2 size small, which is typical of boots. I wear a 9 wide, sometimes 9.5, and usually fit perfect in a size 10 boot. These fit the bill on that account. My sister who wears a size 10, also fit in these just perfect as well, so I guess it depends on your fit preference. Having worn the size 10, I would not order them in a size 9. Definitely if you are between sizes, have wide feet, or want to wear socks with the boots, order up a size. The colors are nice, I have the black. The heel is the perfect height, and has some arch support inside, feels very sturdy. The exterior is a wonderful suede looking fabric, with of course the fur and laces. The underside of the shoe is a firm, sturdy rubber. There is a zipper on the inside-facing... Loved them. Very cute, comfy and warm. In that 9 months I've worn them less than 5 times, as I didn't want to wear them in the snow out of fear the suede wouldn't hold up well. So why is it that the boot is coming apart at the heel? The sole on one boot is completely disconnected and the other is ripping.
