I tried these on the day they arrived and the stiching COMPLETELY RIPPED as I put them on- and no they were not too small. They are also very difficult to put on and are not adjustable as they appear. The buckle is purely decorative. They are lightweight, comfortable and do not need 'breaking in'. The supportive arch support is awesome! For years I have battled hard callous formations that constantly grow on the bottom of my feet and in 6 weeks they have DISAPPEARED since wearing Fit Flops!!!!!!!!!!!! The bottom of my feet are smooth and no more irritating sore callouses! I wear an 8 in regular shoes, but a 7 in the sandals works well, especially the Pietra since my foot runs a bit narrow. I ordered this in an 8 however, since it is a boot and it is perfect! I can wear them with or without socks and it is a wonderful fit. I wanted a closed in shoe for cooler weather. I live in Australia and when I was in USA I tried on a pair of size 11 Suede Fitflop pull on boot and they were fabulous fit wise but I really wanted leather. So I came back to Australia, ordered EXACTLY the same boot in size 11 but in leather and Amazon shipped them quickly.When they arrived I tried to put them on and couldn't even get my foot into them let alone see if they fit me. The part around the ankle is so tight my foot just won't go in at all. I cannot return them because by the time I received them and then send them back, the 30 day return will have expired. VERY disappointing that Fitflop does not have good quality control. In my opinion, the sizing of the boots is much smaller than the thongs.My guess is that if you have very narrow feet you will not have a problem. If I had not physically tried them on, then I would have nothing to complain... Read more |
