My girls normally wear a size 12 (small feet for 6 year olds), so I guessed I'd need a size 13 since the boots were lined. They were darling upon arrival and I was excited to try them on one of my girls...well, her foot couldn't even fit into the boot. My guess is that I should have ordered a size 1 or even a size 2 for her rather than the size 13. I wish someone had thought to put this in the information section so that customers knew to size WAY UP.... My daughter wears a size 3 youth. I ordered a size 4 youth in these boots to allow for growth, and they were still too small! I had to send them back. We ended up ordering a 5 women's, which were a little roomy, but we kept them anyway. They are comfortable. At 4 yrs. old, these are "the best thing that's ever happened to her!" You do need to order them a size larger or 2 sizes larger (if you want them to fit a few years), as they seem to run small. Amazon doesn't let you even-exchange, so you may want to try another website to order from, just to be safe. |
