The tag in the liner of my boots clearly says "wool blend". OBVIOUSLY since the liner is machine washable it cannot be pure wool. Not sure why Amazon doesn't say that in the description.With that said - they do run small so order the next size up. I'm a 7 1/2 but the 8's fit me beautifully. They are extremely warm and they're probably going to be my new snow boot this year! Because they are real rubber and not plastic like a lot of rain boots they are not that flexible so you may not want to use them for driving unless you have long legs. I like that they have an adjustable buckle at the top so you can make them tighter around your calves. BUT they were loose on my daughter who has thin legs. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful  Disintegrated, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: BEARPAW Women's Lagoon Rain Boot (Apparel) The inside soles of these boots are really thin and flimsy; I had to put extra cushioned liners in them so I wouldn't feel the bumps of the inside structure. But even so, I was happy enough with these boots for about 3 weeks, until the sock liner went threadbare and tore, and the rubber of the boot itself cracked with a 3-inch gash, making them unsightly and no longer waterproof. And since being waterproof is the whole purpose of their existence, I'm now pretty angry. Also, the fabric covering the inside of the boot tore inside at the heel, causing some painful chafing and blistering.I love the idea of these boots; I really wanted a waterproof boot with a removable warm liner. But the execution of this particular product is very, very poor. The sizing on this boot is very tight/narrow. My DH ordered a half size up for me and I tried them out without any socks and it was still so tight I didn't even want to leave them on for a picture. None of my other BEARPAWS are tight.We sent these back due to the poor fit. |
